Mission Statment

The Town of Watertown Ambulance Service Inc. is a volunteer and paid professional organization that provides pre-hospital medical care to the citizens of the Town of Watertown and surrounding area.

We provide skilled, compassionate, Basic and Advanced Life support services 24/7, as well as training and education to our local community.

We maintain the highest standards of our profession and continuously strive to seek opportunities that will expand and advance our services to our neighbors.

About Us

The Town of Watertown Ambulance Service, Inc. is a Not-for-profit Emergency Medical Services (EMS) organization which responds to the medical needs of the Town of Watertown community as well as support our neighboring communities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, assisted by the Town of Watertown Fire Department.

New York Certified as Advanced and Basic Life Support, we provide our community with the much-needed emergency response with highly skilled and educated providers “at the ready,” from our two station locations. In addition, Town of Watertown Ambulance provides many services such as standbys for concerts, sporting events, and other social gatherings in the Town of Watertown community as well as inter-facility medical transports and community education such as CPR training.

Over the past ten years, the Town of Watertown Ambulance Service has grown to be one of Jefferson County’s leading EMS teams with continued growth, continued higher education, and reliability.

We are a mixture of paid and volunteer providers, there is no experience necessary to join our organization. Additional continuing training can be coordinated through our training center and coordinated with local state and county educational facilities for certifications like EMT-Basic, AEMT, AEMT-CC, and Paramedics.
